This Section will perform the following activities: -

• Ensure emergency preparedness to mass casualty and poly-trauma patients;
• Provide anesthesia services.
• Provide critical and intensive care services;
• Perform pre and post-operative evaluation;
• Develop and implement SOPs, management protocols and Clinical guidelines in Critical care, Anaesthesia and Emergency medicine;
• Conduct clinical researches in the field of Critical care, Anaesthesia and Emergency medicine;
• Formulate and implement quality improvement strategies for service delivery in Critical care, Anaesthesia and Emergency medicine; and
• Provide mentorship and technical support to lower health facilities in the zone to issues related to Critical care, Anaesthesia and Emergency medicine.
