This Section will perform the following activities:-

• Run Obstetrics and Gynecology clinics for outpatients;
• Provide emergency and elective operative gynecological services;
• Provide antenatal care and delivery services;
• Provide comprehensive emergence obstetric and neonatal care services (CEMoNC);
• Develop and implement SOPs, management protocols and Clinical guidelines in Obstetrics & Gynaecology and sexual and reproductive health;
• Ensure proper utilization, maintenance and storage of obstetrics & Gynaecology equipment and supplies;
• Formulate and implement quality improvement strategies for service delivery in obstetrics & Gynaecology and sexual and reproductive health; and
• Provide mentorship and technical support to lower health facilities in the zone to issues related to Obstetrics & Gynaecology and sexual and reproductive health.
